Standard seven class have two types of examination (PSLE Examinations) which are for government schools and private schools (English Medium Schools). The exam comes with the same questions but only language changes.
Government schools teaches all subjects (except English language) in English while for English medium schools teaches all subject in English (except Lugha ya Kiswahili).
Mitihani ya darasa la saba comes with swahili language for local schools and english for private schools which both are prepared by the National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA).
