The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) has officially released the results for the Standard Seven examinations of 2023 on Thursday November 23, 2023. This year’s results mark another milestone for thousands of students across the country as they eagerly discover the Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE) results of their primary education.

In 2023, over one million students sat for the Standard Seven examinations, a crucial step in their educational journey. But t least, 1,092,960 equivalent to 80.58 percent of the candidates who sat the 2023 Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) have passed.
NECTA’s executive secretary, Dr Said Mohamed, revealed the 2023 PSLE results, saying that 507,920 were boys and 585,040 girls out of the 1,397,293 candidates who sat for the exam.

- Visit the NECTA Website: Go to the official NECTA website at www.necta.go.tz.
- Navigate to the Results Section: On the homepage, look for the “Results” tab and click on it.
- Select Standard Seven Results 2023: From the list of available examination results, select “PSLE.”
- Find your school: On the result tab choose year which you finished your examination then locate your school.
- Enter Your Information: You will be prompted to enter your examination number. Make sure to input the correct number.
- View and Download: Once your details are entered, your results will be displayed on the screen. You can also download a copy for future reference.
For those who may not have access to the internet, NECTA has also provided alternative methods to check results via SMS or by visiting your school for printed copies.
